Plier type tools rely on the strength of your grip, which is ok for the smaller aluminium rivnuts but if your fitting un-serrated or larger M6 - M10 steel rivnuts you may find the rivnuts turn when fitting the final screw/bolt. Using our tool you can increase the amount of torque applied when setting the rivnut thus reducing the chance of the rivnut turning.

Instruction for use.

Assuming you have the correct size drill for the rivnut and the material is the correct specified thickness for the rivnut.  Use a 13mm open ended spanner to hold the bush and tighten the nut with a 13mm spanner or long socket.

However if the rivnut just turns in the hole due to wrong size drill or material is thinner than specified  DONT PANIC !

Use a 6mm hex key/socket to hold the bolt and tighten the nut with a  13mm spanner.
