Beautiful Art Nouveau Insect Brooch

This is a delightful brooch signed by Georges Flamand, Paris. Georges Flamand and Elizabeth Bonte worked together in the same Studio in Paris, they were both inspired by the fabulous designs of Rene Lalique in horn and other natural materials. It dates to around 1900. I am not quite sure if this is a Bee, Hornet or a Dragonfly or maybe a combination of all three?

Made from horn taht has been pressed and carved into shape.It measures 3" (7.5cm) across and is 2" (5cm tall).

Condition: There appear to be two fissures across the back, these do not go through to the front and do not compromise the brooch.
