After Howard began on KLSX in Los Angeles in July 1991, it took him just one year and three months to surpass the three-year reign of Mark Thompson and Brian Phelps on rival KLOS in October 1992. It was then when he was the first to have the number one morning radio show in the country's top two markets: New York and Los Angeles. The crew dressed up in really great costumes, including Fred in a hilarious martian outfit! This was a crazy party with tons of special guests, bands and celebrities, on stage outside The Palce Theatre.
