It is not easy to classify Soziedad Alkoholika within a single musical style. Thrash, Hardcore, Metal, Punk ... The only certainty is that its basic foundations have always been power and speed, showing in their compositions; a wide and varied range of influences marked by their particular style. With regard to their texts, they have always been in line with the music. Corrosive and explicit lyrics, full of social commitment and direct denunciation have been one of its main characteristics. Since the beginning of their formation as a band, they have not left anyone indifferent. They swept away with their first demo " Intoxikazion Etilica " in which they combined an unusual strength and speed until then. But it was in 1991 with their first LP " Sozdades Alkoholika " when they managed to surprise the specialized critics and attract a large number of followers of all kinds of hard music. Their first official job broke the barriers that many believed insurmountable between styles as defined as Punk and Metal, which was a real shock to the scene. In a short time they became a reference for a good number of bands inside and outside the country.  How could it be otherwise, their first LP became almost instantly a crossover classic.  Years later they recorded acclaimed CDs with Roadrunner Records before the release of Cadenas de Odio (Chains of Hate).
