VINTAGE ~ BACCARAT ~ COVERED CANDY DISH “MISSOURI” PATTERN This covered candy dish was made in France by BACCARAT and fashioned from clear crystal. It measures approximately 5 ½ inches tall and is 5 inches in diameter. It is a substantial piece weighing 2 pounds 6 ½ ounces. It is in excellent condition having no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. It appears as though it has never been used as there aren’t even any surface scratches on the bottom. The trademark Baccarat seal is on the bottom. The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The Baccarat Glass Company of Muerthe, France was founded in 1764 and is one of the most important makers of fine crystal. Their beautiful crystal can be displayed and enjoyed while appreciating in value. This piece would make a wonderful addition to your collection ~ or the perfect gift for someone special!
