Abies bornmuelleriana, the Turkish fir is a coniferous evergreen tree, most likely a natural hybrid between Caucasian fir and Grecian fir. On the back of its foliage, the Turkish fir has a silvery hue, exposed as a result of the upward growth habit of its needles.

Seeds of the true Turkish fir are relatively easy to germinate and grow. The dormancy within the seed is short and easily broken. This is achieved by a short period of cold stratification in the fridge.

End Use:  Tree or grow as a shrub, hedge
