Rare Antique Iron Table Vitrolite Chicago HDW FDRY Co. Urban Industrial Rohde
Offering a wonderful and RARE Antique Table (Bistro, etc) ca. early 1900's -- white Vitrolite (opaque milk glass) top with white enamelled cast iron base.
The base is stamped -- CHICAGO, HDW FDRY. CO. N. CHICAGO ILL. PAT APPL. FOR (refer to photos).
The table has a great Moderne, Urban Industrial look, presaging the designs of Rohde, Frank, Ruhlmann, et al.
It is in excellent antique condition. Very sturdy. The enamel is bright and smooth -- only minor rubbing. The Vitrolite Top has no cracks or chips. Terrific Silhouette.
