It is spring load, bi-directional, the lip material is Nitrile (BUNA-N) or 70 durometer and it can handle temperatures from -40 F to 250 F.  It is from Enduro, made in South Korea. It can be compared to the quality we have grown to know and expect from manufacturers like Timken, National, SKF, CR Chicago Rawhide and TCM
