This is an early 20th century English School painting, the winner in a school competition circa 1920.

It depicts a thrush on it's nest among ivy.

This was from the Grecian Street School, Broughton, Salford and the recipient was aged just 13!

This is a lovely little painting with it's own history, in very good condition in a charming frame.

It measures 35 cm x 30 cm, and weighs 850 grams.

Any marks are reflection on the glass.

This would make a wonderful present, an original work for the price of a print.
