This is a listing for a DIY project kit to build your own Effect Pedal. For clarity, its supplied as a PCB and individual parts which you must identify and put together. Insane octave up is what this is all about. This can be used on its own, or included inside another enclosure to add an 'octavio' to it. This goes mad when you mix it with boosters.
Our kit has an additional pot in place of a fixed resistor. The pot is a worthy addition and removes a bit of the shrillness from the output tone.
This kit is supplied with a JP1590B enclosure. The PCB design takes advantage of board mounted pots, connecting directly to it. Super safe inside the enclosure.
Suited to those who have built a couple of pedals before, medium difficulty.

PCB Only - Just the plain PCB
PCB & Components - PCB, onboard components and any pots and toggle switches.
Full Kit - As above with undrilled enclosure and off board components (foot switch, Jacks, 9v, LED)
Full Kit & Drilling - Full kit with drilled enclosure.
Drilling is an optional extra for the Full Kit. There is a small surcharge for this.
Drilling includes all the holes for a complete pedal.
You will need 1 knob for this kit. I suggest you get a big one.
Please be sure to read the build document before you order. The kits are enjoyable but can also be challenging.
You will have to identify components, calculate resistor codes and be able to solder them into place.
All kits require full assembly and any images of completed PCBs are for reference only.

Kit came well labelled and with superb instructions. Was my second or third ever build and, save me soldering the pot on the wrong way and having a bit of a nightmare soldering it the right way, it went flawlessly. The pedal sounds great and really adds that vintage, not-so-perfect octave sound. Would recommend this kit as a easy kit to build and will deffo use Jed again
