Cast iron stands for quality at Petromax

Thanks to the excellent properties of cast iron and the special surface structure, heat is stored and transferred efficiently. The pre-treated surface (seasoned finish) makes initial baking unnecessary and the robust Bundt cake tin can be used immediately. Outdoors, the mold is heated over a campfire with wood or with charcoal and briquettes. The practical carrying handle made of stainless steel with a notch for hanging is also used here. The raised edge of the lid allows embers or charcoal to be placed safely on the Bundt pan. This means it is heated evenly from Allen sides. But the cast iron dish also cuts a fine figure in the oven at home.

Multifunctional and practical

Whether marble cake or fresh bread, baking is easy with the Petromax Gugelhupf pan. The lid with feet can be easily removed with the Petromax lid lifter. When turned upside down, the cast lid is not only suitable for making cake bases, but also for savory tarts and quiches and as a practical pan for the outdoor kitchen. It can also be used as a rustic serving plate for finished pastries from the Bundt cake tin. The mold is very easy to clean after use.
