Vintage very unusual Makah Basket around a small sailor's duffel bag with birds and whales design . 

The baffle bag is original to the basket as it is attached to the basket with bear grass when it was made so not someone's add on . 

This basket was bought at the Lake Quinault Lodge years ago , part of a collection I just picked up . 

The bag I believe is cotton and the bag has a wonderful woven draw handle . 

( Buyers note even thou this basket has a woven bear grass handle never pick them up by there handles with age they dry out and will break ) 

The basket is 10" by 10" and 4" tall The bag is about 9" tall . It's made of Bear grass and a cedar bark start .

This Basket is previously owned , and is in great condition with just some fading basket and the inside duffel bag is in great condition. View all photos for the most accurate description.
