This adapter will only work for Renault 'Update List' type radios that have an 'AUX' option listed in the update menu.
Most Car have this type of radio, but there are a few with a 'Tuner List' type head unit which this cable will not work with.
This adaptor can still be used if you already have a CD changer connected to the radio as it uses a different socket.
