I have just changed the eBay category of all my listings for 99.99% pure silver coins from [Coins & Paper Money >> Coins: Canada >> Commemorative] ...to [Coins & Paper Money >> Bullion >> Silver >> Coins].

That means when Canadian buyers purchase items from me in those categories they will not be charged HST or GST by eBay. Even if the item in question is a coin composed of 99.99% silver, eBay will still charge HST or GST if it is not in a bullion category.

Some shipping methods do not include tracking, while others do. Buyers who select a shipping service without tracking assume the risk of the package being lost in the mail.
At the buyer's option, an order including 2 or more items with total value of $50 or more may be split into multiple packages (if possible), each with value of less than $50. They will be shipped with a less expensive service that does not provide tracking.
I will ship them separately and periodically. After the buyer confirms receipt of the first package, I will send the next package. As each package is sent and then received, I will continue until the entire order has been shipped.
I do not make a profit on shipping fees. Both eBay and Paypal charge a percentage of the shipping fee (in addition to a percentage of the item price).

Note regarding Canadian sales taxes (GST and HST):

Canadian federal regulations stipulate that gold and platinum coins with a purity of 99.5% or higher, and silver coins with purity of 99.9% or higher, are exempt from Canadian GST (Goods and Service Tax) and HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) sales taxes.

eBay will not charge HST or GST on items listed in the bullion categories. Items in categories other than bullion (i.e. Coins: Canada >> Commemorative) will result in eBay charging Canadian buyers sales taxes even if the coins have higher than the purities mentioned above.

Sterling silver coins (purity of 92.5%) are not exempt from these sales taxes because of their lower purity.

If you think you have been unfairly charged GST or HST sales taxes by eBay, please contact them for assistance.

Buyers outside of Canada will not be charged Canadian sales taxes by eBay. However, eBay will charge and collect sales taxes (including VAT) and remit them to the proper authorities based on the buyer's local state, federal, Crown, or other tax regulations in the buyer's area of residence. They are not charged by me, and are not paid to me.
