Guess by L.J. Bridgman - 1901 - First Edition - Extremely Rare. Please note: the page block has separated from the spine. The block itself appears to be in a few sections, however with some binding repair, this will be a great copy of this very difficult to find book. The exterior has some wear/rubbing/bumping and minor soiling in a couple small spots, but overall still shows very nicely. The spine has one small tear near the middle, but is holding together nicely given its age. The interior has no words written anywhere I could see. There are a few pages with some pencil markings, but nothing extensive and all appeared to be either completely fixable or at least minimized. There is some general tanning throughout, and some soiling, but only a few smaller areas (edge of a page, etc.) that looked to be liquid damage. Mostly smudges here and there. There is also some small creased corners/small closed tears/small chips/foxing here and there. Book is unpaginated. I counted about 94 pages from the Title page through the page opposite the rear inside cover (I can't honestly say I know there aren't missing pages, but it doesn't appear to be missing any).

Frankly, the illustrations are quite beautiful and very unique. This is definitely an unusual book. I would be happy to provide additional photos upon request.
