Features:
1. Solid round dies are suitable for general purpose threading. Ideal for maintenance and repair work.
2. Round Dies are perfect for re-threading existing threads in hard materials like metal or making new threads in softer material such as plastic.
3. Ideal for maintenance and repair work in the shop or field. Die size is etched on the surface for easy identification.

Popular science:
Coarse threads (UNC), fine threads (UNF), ultra-fine threads (UNEF), special pitch threads (UNS) have differences in tooth shape, tooth amount, and application conditions:
1. Tooth shape
UNC represents the coarse thread in the United States unified thread UN series (optional external thread bottom radius). The coarse thread has a large tooth profile and is a large pitch.
UNF is United Fine Thread, that is, American fine thread. The teeth are small in shape.
The uniform thread of the UNEF superfine thread series has a finer tooth profile and belongs to the American standard ANSI B1.1.
UNS special series of unified threads, special threads are also called special-shaped threads, threads with special shapes such as the outer contour and tooth profile of the thread.
2. The amount of teeth
The number of teeth per unit length of UNC is small.
There are many teeth per unit length of UNF.
UNEF has more teeth per unit length than fine threads.
UNS has the most teeth per unit length.
3. Applicable situation
UNC is used for connection and fastening between mechanical parts. Generally, coarse thread is used for thread connection.
UNF fine teeth are generally used where anti-loosening is required. The fine thread thread has more teeth, which can reduce the fluid leakage, so it is used in the occasions that need to be sealed. The fine thread can also play a fine- tuning role because of the small pitch.
This series of UNEF is suitable for thin-walled pipes, thin nuts, short sleeves or short joints where short screwing lengths and smaller screw pitches are required.
UNS provides a wide range of diameter/pitch combinations for special design requirements that the UNC, UNF and UNEF series cannot meet. The constant pitch series is used for parts that are assembled and disassembled many times or parts that are conducive to re-repairing threads .
