Batteries are legally obliged as end users. Disposal in normal household waste is prohibited and violates the Battery Act. You can use batteries or Return batteries free of charge after use at the point of sale or at communal collection points. You can use batteries or You can also send batteries back to us by post.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries that are subject to labeling are marked with the symbol, a crossed-out garbage can. The chemical symbol of the pollutant is attached.

The signs are:

PB: contains lead

CD: contains cadmium

Hg: contains mercury
