Application : to replace the capacitor (known as permanent or start-up) on all types of Becker, M4 Group or Nice motor for roller shutters, awnings or garage doors.  

Examples of failure symptoms : when your engine stops after a few cm on ascent, or you have to help it by hand to climb, or it shows weaknesses, or makes an abnormal noise... is that the capacitor is worn. By changing it, your engine will become like new again! Another possible symptom, the motor does not move at all, neither when going up or down, it can also come from the capacitor in this case. 

Specific capacitor for Becker, M4 Group or Nice motor : 

  • My Capacitors are specially designed to operate on awning and roller shutter motors. You just have to determine the value you need. On your old capacitor, the value in µF (uF) is written on it.   • For the rest (class A / B / C, standard, tolerance, etc…), it doesn't matter, my capacitors are compatible with all Becker, M4 Group or Nice brand motors.

New adapter lugs supplied for connection to the wires :

  • For installation, you will have to cut the 2 wires flush with the old capacitor, then strip the 2 wires over 1 cm, put the new terminals provided on each wire, then pinch the terminals with a simple pliers to crimp the wire above , and finally all that remains is to fit the new capacitor onto the new terminals. The new capacitor will then be connected to the 2 wires via the 2 terminals. There is no sense of connection (no polarity), you can plug in any direction.

  • Capacitor diameter: 25 mm (the capacitor therefore easily fits into all the motor tubes).
  • Total length of the capacitor with the terminals: 70 mm.  
  • To sum up in terms of size, this model is compact (in width and length), so it fits in all engines without any worries!

Available with capacitor, 2 new adhesive foam strips :

  • Sometimes when you dismantle your motor, you will see a holding foam stuck around your old capacitor. By taking off this foam, it can be damaged. That's why I'm giving you one free with each capacitor. You can use it as a replacement if necessary. It just sticks around the capacitor.

Why choose a quality capacitor?

  • the capacitor plays an important role in a tubular motor. The capacitor produces a phase shift on one of the two motor coils, which generates a rotating magnetic field and torque, and rotates the motor axis. If you choose a low-end capacitor (bad tolerance, unstable value over time ...), the phase shift will not be good, the motor will malfunction and it will fail again in the medium term.. So, you really have to put qualityé. Capacitor quality = extended motor life!
