Matching pairs of original WWII British Army ski gloves and mittens with trigger finger. Mittens are clearly marked and dated 1942. Standard issue to the 52nd (Lowland) Infantry Division whilst training in Scotland before their role changed in 1944. Also used by South African troops in Italy 44/45 on ski patrols.
