Born in Brooklyn, New York but raised in London, Waite was a prolific author and many of his works were well received in academic circles. He wrote occult texts on subjects including divination, esotericism, Rosicrucianism, Freemasonry, ceremonial magic, black magic, Kabbalism and alchemy. He also translated several medieval mystical and alchemical works. Further books include works on the Holy Grail, as well as cartomancy, Tarot reading and the occult sciences as a whole. Some of the books contained within this collection are extremely hard-to-find and will provide a valuable library of reference material.
