Dealer refurbished Berkey systems
may be scratched or dented, missing the original box, or may simply be products which were returned and
then restored by an Authorized Berkey Dealer. Dealer refurbished systems
ARE NOT warrantied against cosmetic defects. However, the included Black
Berkey Purification Elements carry the standard 2-year pro-rated limited
warranty, which provides you with the same performance and longevity
that you would experience with any non-refurbished Berkey system.
If you have any preferences as to the kind of Refurbished system you receive, missing box, vs scratches, dents, etc please add a note to your order and while we make no guarantee's we will do our best to get you something you will be happy with.
Most of our refurbs are returns with minor or no physical defects but do not buy one of these if you are a stickler for perfection. Pay a bit extra for a brand new system which comes with a guarantee against cosmetic defects.
