Lolita project after Vladimir Nabokov’s story of Lolita. This is the time of 1948-1949  when Dolly-Lo lived in small New England town Beardsley and had been enrolled in a local private school for girls. There she participated  in some school activities including occasional school balls.. Her room was not a home but an aging rental accommodation.. She had some things in there that she liked- magazines, comics, her mysterious French perfume, nail polish and red lipstick- you can see all these items in my 3D illustration of the story.. There she had some secret places where she kept her stash- like the one behind the reproduction of Whistler’s “Mother” painting.. Yet there was another cache that nobody ever discovered - I made it in the backing of the mirror..  Lolita wears her pink and black ball dress .. she has a large slice of chocolate cake on pretty porcelain plate- she loved sweets.. there are few dollar bills next to her.. lots of magazines and comics to read..
Everything you see in pictures is included.
Lolita porcelain doll is about 6” long and 2” high.
Her dress is removable as well as double layered silk underskirt with ruffles and lavender lace panties.
