Small surface abrasions near bottom on front. Address sticker near top left on back. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white), one seam split near center. Spine has no text, with wear. Shelf-wear along bottom-edge, heavier wear/developing split near center along top-edge. Opening is crisp with signs of use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)

On a Calypso Cruise, by Lionel And The Clipper Trio, is the third album of a series recorded by Lionel Latmore and is a departure from his previous efforts. In this release new arrangements of popular calypsos, Latin, and American standards are created. You will recognize the music, but you will be delightfully surprised at the modern arrangements of these old tunes. This new sound was heard daily in the Clipper Lounge, in the Prince George Hotel arcade, on Nassau's downtown harbor front. The lively setting and atmosphere of this beautiful night-spot formed a perfect background for Lionel and his Clipper Trio.
