The automobile manufacturer Land Rover has been producing the vehicle of the same name since 1948, the original development of which (1947) initially benefited civilian use in agriculture. The first three model series were given the simple designation Series I, II and III. Only the fourth series (from 1983) was called One Ten (110 inch wheelbase) or Ninety (90) propagated. After the introduction of the "Discovery" series in 1990, a differentiation became necessary and the original Land Rover models were given the designation "Defender".

Another new feature is that, for the first time in 35 years, the rigid axles are suspended from coil springs instead of leaf springs. The windshield, which was previously divided into two parts, is also being replaced by a continuous pane and the fenders are made of plastic. The vehicle, originally developed for civil use, was often used on impassable expeditions thanks to its robustness, so it is no wonder that the Defender can still be found in many crisis areas today. The reliable vehicle has become indispensable in various aid organizations and also in the military. The robust Land Rover is highly valued as an off-road vehicle, especially in private areas.

Finally this power pack drives over hill and dale even in impassable N-model landscapes and not only inspires the miniature population. Sharp contours and detailed features turn the rough, angular block into a real gem. As with the prototype (built in 1983, One Ten), the roof is of a different color. The front view of the model is dominated by the large black radiator grille, in which the headlights and the finest indicators are brightly set off.
