To make the centerpiece for this beaded, russet suede leather, drawstring pouch measuring: 12.5 x 10 cm. (5" x 4";  I  did backstitch around a 30 x 22 mm. mahogany obsidian cabochon, glued to felt;  using black, russet and antique gold, size 10, seed beads.
This, I  beaded to the pouch by doing brickstitch;  using black, size 8, seed beads.

Obsidian is volcanic glass that comes in many colors and patterns.

The 60 cm. (23 1/2") black, suede leather cord drawstring is finished at the ends with carnelian discs, onyx rounds and brass rondelles;  all tied on with 7 strand beading wire.

It has two lock beads.  (See last picture).
One, a black bone bead, keeps the pouch tightly shut, while the other, a wooden donut, adjusts the strap length,so, it can be securely looped around a wrist, purse strap or belt loop.

This pouch will keep your treasures safe.
