Unusual 'squared' opal with brushstrokes of fire within the opal and accenting the frame in floral hued gemstones. 

It is a longer, twinkling pendant, just over 1.5" long by an inch wide. There is the body of the piece and the large custom made-to-match bail .. all glowing in a sterling silver highly polished setting with generously hand applied 14k rose gold around the more prominent details that the artist wished to be accented. 

In the middle lies a sparkling, 'fire heavy' Australian Black opal doublet with blue, green, purple, reddish-pink and yellow fire. The stone is flawless and every part of it is alive with color and movement. The opal itself is 10mm by 9mm and holds great depth ... similar to a starry night sky, it has dimension and movement. Eight beautiful, faceted gemstones bring unexpected points of colorful delight in pink, green, purple and blue... all natural gemstones, of course. Sapphire and Tsavorite.

The back has a slide through bail to sturdy the piece and center it while worn. A very high-quality pendant that has been tagged at $560.00

There are two base metals: sterling silver 925 and 14k rose gold. This is not a plated piece but rather, two metals that, when placed together give the eye a feast of color and interest.
