Seymour & Squantuck Connecticut 1868 F.W. Beers detailed city plan

Seymour.

(North America, United States, New England, Connecticut, New Haven County, Seymour, Squantuck, Bunga, Great Hill, Detailed City Plan).

Issued 1868, New York by F.W. Beers.

Uncommon and detailed mid 19th century lithographed map with original hand color.

Very detailed with countless home owners named, great for genealogical research. Business directory at top lists manufacturers of paper, rubber, hoop skirts, woolen goods, a pin company, saloons, meat markets, a saw & cider mill, mason, etc.

Paper shows a lovely age patina, and is uniformly age toned, the edges now slightly brittle. This fragile map will require careful handling, but remains worthy of framing and display.

Sheet Measures c. 13 3/4" x 16".

Printed Area Measures c. 12"  x 14" W.
