DEFSTAN 22mm Nylon Strap with 316L stainless steel buckle and loops.

Inspired by the nylon watch straps issued by the UK Ministry of Defence: Defence Standard 66-47.

Made from the same durable and comfortable nylon material as our one-piece nylon straps. 

These DEFSTAN nylon straps can be used with all Marathon wrist watches and with other brands. Constructed of military spec nylon with 316L stainless steel hardware including substantial engraved square buckle. 

There are plenty of similar straps out there but you will find the details is what set these apart from the ordinary.  The buckles all have the same finish as the case of Marathon's tactical dive watches (the JSAR and JDD).  Further, the keepers are low profile and squared at corners. Most straps have rounded keepers. This adds adds a certain amount of unique distinctiveness to the strap without losing any of its tactical attributes.  It also serves a distinct purpose of making them lower profile.  This in turn flattens the strap and makes for an very clean wrap around the wrist.  Finally, the last keeper is slightly larger to accommodate the double strap again making for a smooth tight fit.
