This is one of those iconic Y2k formal party dresses that is just a snapshot of an era. Made by the prince to the Gunne Sax throne, Scott McClintock brings the classic beautiful lines to this ballgown, with the perfect extra touches that make it from that magical y2k style from the 90s.

The bodice is made from supple blended fabric intended to grab and drape, but amazingly it also has vertical boning to hold it up like a corset. The princess neckline is held up by the boning, so it will never slip during a dance. The hem of the bodice is hassled by onyx beaded glass set into loops, a true genie silhouette! The long drape skirt has that fantastic silvery sheen that was so emblematic to the 90s. i love the three distinct shine / bling elements to this dress: The bodice fabric is dotted with black shines the hem with the sparkling glass beads, and the silvery shine to the skirt.

This thing is goth / grunge perfection, and these do not come onto the market very often!
