This upgrade kit is 128MB of SAMPLE RAM memory that allows you to load and play samples on your Kurzweil K2500 or K2500R (revision K engine board). The kit consists of one 128MB 72-pin simm. This is the correct simm for the Revision K Engine Board in a K2500, K2500S, K2500X, K2500XS, K2500R, K2500RS. The 7th digit of your K2500 serial number designates which motherboard revision you have. "O" designates revision A thru J. "Z" designates revision K. The revision K motherboard was made after approximately June, 1997 and uses 72-pin simms.

You must look at the serial number on the back of your K2500/K2500R so you can tell if your unit uses 30-pin simms or 72-pin simms. If the 7th digit from the left is a "Z", your K2500/K2500R uses this 128MB 72-pin simm.

The K2500/K2500R (revision K) will be maxed out with 128MB.

Complete installation instructions are included. Installing the simm in a Kurzweil is easy and only requires a phillips head screwdriver.

To check the current SAMPLE RAM memory in a K2500 model: push either the Master or Disk button and in the middle the of the top line on the display it will read, SAMPLES:131,072K, if your sample RAM is maxed out. I have seen some K2500's with no Sample Ram installed.

The simm will be in anti-static bag and well packed for shipping. Email me with any questions.

The items will ship within 24-48 hours of payment. I will combine items in one shipping box to save you money on shipping charges when possible. Email me for a combined shipping cost.
