Antique Leather Centennial Diary 1878 George Becker. This is a wonderful, rare diary that does not have any entries. The owner of the diary is George Becker and his signature is in ink on the inside page and there is a stamp signature on the opposite of the centennial diary page. The diary does have different entries from the printer. It has eclipses for 1878, church days, a Calendar, and a month to month Page of what occurred on each day, for example the stamp act was passed in 1765 on March 8. This section is extremely interesting. There is also the interest laws of the United States, there is an interest table, there are pages with the population of states and territories in 1870. There are principal cities and their population. And then the diary begins with a gold edging. There are also included in the diary a coin flap and a Nother pocket with a blue lining. The diary is in fairly good condition considering it’s age. When closed it measures almost 5“ x 3 1/2“ and is 1 inch thick. I hate to part with this, but can’t keep everything exclamation
