ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED FAMILLE BLACK MILLE FLEURS PORCELAIN PLATE - REPUBLIC OF CHINA

This was hand-painted. This Black Mille-Fleur Porcelain plate is extremely beautiful and has a variety of many different colors, literally referring to a background representation of many small flowers ("thousand flowers") and is very nicely detailed. The background is black, while the outer border of the plate is white and complements the black quite well.  The top surface feels slightly "textured".  It is marked with five Chinese characters at the bottom with the word "CHINA" and a "09" below.

THIS PLATE IS IN PERFECT CONDITION.  NO CHIPS, CRACKS, OR EVIDENCE OF REPAIRS OF ANY KIND.
