Well remote control of the following functions - Play, Stop, rewind forward, rewind back, Revers Rlay (for 003, 005), Play, Stop, rewind forward, rewind back (for 004). 

LEDs and regulators  on the console are not involved. This is due to the circuitry of the tape recorder itself.

The external state is used. There are loopholes and scratches on the surface. If you need a console in a new state, this is not your option.
