WAS GETTING DEMOLISHED .....

New World 3458.

iron back of the cooker :

The whole body of
this cooker is made of cast iron and has an enamel plate finish which sits over
the top of the cast iron ( both outside and inside faces ).
The cooktop and both
ovens are run on natural gas.
The cooker is
complete and in excellent working order. It has been well looked after (
amazing condition! ).
The cooktop has 6
burners and a grill.
The burners are lit
with a handheld flint ignitor. The ignitor has its own holster and is attached
to the left hand side of the cooker.
There is an original
( tiny ) hand beaten brass container for the flints. This is very easy to
refill. The cap on the brass container has the word “flints” stamped onto it.
Each cooktop burner
has its own hand beaten solid brass turning on/off swivel lever.
Underneath the
cooktop there is an enamel drip tray. This slides out for easy cleaning.
Attached to the back
of the cooker is an enamel splashback / pot rack.
There are 2 separate
ovens that can be used individually. Both ovens have their own controls on both
the right and left hand sides of the cooker.
Each oven has 2
original oven racks that have the word “front” stamped on them.
The right hand side
oven has an original “Cooper” thermostat that hangs from the bottom oven tray.
Both the oven doors
lift off their hinges for easy cleaning.
The words “REGULO NEW
WORLD 3458” are stamped onto the left hand side oven door.
The word “Radiation”
is stamped onto the right hand side door.
Every part of
the cooker has been well looked after. There are no scratches or dints, but
there is the odd section of missing white enamel. This is purely cosmetic and
is to be expected with an original item of this age.
The cooker is sized
at :
1045 mm wide x 910 mm
high x 465 mm depth.
The height including
the enamel splashback / pot rack is 1440 mm high.
The right hand side
interior oven space is 470 mm width x 400 mm high x 340 mm depth.
The left hand side
interior oven space is 400 mm width x 400 mm high x 340 mm depth.
