This is a premium valve cover gasket by made Gasket
Innovations and made with high temperature silicone. This gasket fits the
stock stamped steel valve cover used on all the BMC "B" series
engines (1489cc, 1588cc, 1622cc, 1789cc). This includes the MGA, MGB and other
cars fitted with the "B" engine. This gasket has been designed with a
semi-circular cross section to better fit these valve covers. The flat side of
the gasket mates to the cylinder head while the curved semi-circular side mates
to the recess in the valve cover to eliminate leaks.
The gasket pictured is dark red in color, you may receive a
black colored gasket but the color will have no effect on performance, all
gaskets are made of the same material.
