 Die Muskatnüsse kommen original von der Karibik Insel St. Lucia und befinden sich im Vergleich zu den meisten hier angebotenen Nüssen noch in ihrer Innenschale und sind ebenfalls zum großen Teil noch von Macis umgeben.

Die Nüsse sind Hand sortiert und gereinigt.

Macis hat wie die Muskatnuss, die er umhüllt, einen aromatisch-harzigen und leicht bitteren Geschmack, ist aber milder und kann zerrieben genauso als Gewürz verwendet werden.

Zum Würzen von Soßen, Suppen, Eiergerichten, hellem Gemüse, Kohl, Kartoffelgerichten und Spinat. Harmoniert auch gut mit Käse.

Aufbewahrung am besten Licht geschützt in einem Glas mit Schraubdeckel.
