Vintage Ceramic Kitchen Spoon Rest of a stylized Fish with a spoon-shaped depression in the body and a notch in the center of the tail fin for the spoon handle. Fish has a white overall glaze with black scale marks, black eyes, and red lips and gills. Some of the red paint has worn off on the lips and gills. The black appears to be under the glaze and is perfect. There are no chips or cracks, but there is light crazing over the entire surface. The back of the fish has "LOVITZ" in black, and it also has the following pressed into the back: MOBIE Copyright 1950 TOOLAN 104866. The spoonrest measures 8 1/2" overall length by just over 4" tall. Great 1950s kitchen collectible for a Mid-century Modern kitchen.
