I purchased this at an ESTATE SALE of an older gentleman whom was in the military. He had an aviation hobby later in life. From what the auctioneer stated, he had two personal aircraft. He would fly to Montana from here in Ohio once a month or so. He would take off right from the farmer's field across from his house. He also collected old Triumph motorcycles.
14K GOLD with DIAMOND airplane lapel pin. It is marked "14K" on the back of the pin and is marked with a logo on the back of the screw type holder. I am not sure if the screw on back is 14K. I am not familiar with the logo.
No issues found. No bends. Screws right on to the back. etc.
1/2" across and just under 1/4" tall.
It will be protected well and insured.
