They can be used in 6mm to 28mm scale games and indicate anything from

Hit markers, Pin markers, destroyed vehicles and Artillery bombardment.

In Bolt Action we use small for 1 pin marker, medium for 2 pin markers and large for 3 pin markers

Small markers x15 (20mm tall)

Medium markers x10 (32mm tall)

Large markers x5 (47mm tall)

Full set of 30 markers (S x15, M x10, L x5)
