Amazing vintage circa 1904- 1938 classic that showcases a Victorian woman dressed in a rose colored coat or cloak with a white gathered-front dress. She has a lovely white rose in her hair and some baby's breath. See the pretty beads?

This could be a charming addition to your collection of portrait plates, to be hung or added to vanity area. I've heard it said that this is a reproduction of the Sevres Serveware Plates of the 1700's. I have no clue!

Signed by P. Astoni.
Gold gilt hand painted and surrounding the scalloped plate as well as the decoration around the portrait.
There is a stamp on the back, and hard to read. Probably made in Germany..
Measures approx. a tad shorter than 10 1/2" across.

Condition: This plate does have scratches but is in overall excellent condition with no cracks or crazing.

Some of these plates were used as a cake plates, hence the handles .
