This is designed for capping off unused chimny pots so birds, rain ect dont enter the chimney. The capping cowl leaves enough spave for air movment so the chimney does not become damp, Size of pot can be between 150mm to 250mm.
The jubilee band supplied is fixed around these to secure against the pot.
The capping cowl chimney cap is a new product in the Reeds range. This low cost chimney cap is designed with the end user or installer working on a budget in mind. the chimney cap will entirely cap off chimney pots right up to 250mm internal diamter. Again it comes complete with a strap fixing kit and legs to attach it to the chimney pot.
Disused chimney caps are usually installed on chimney pots where you have a redundant chimney or disused chimney.
