This rom adapter (2364-27512) contains a number of Roms and allows you to replace either the:

•   Basic Rom (U3) (901226-01),   Or
•   Kernal Rom (U4) (901227-03),   Or
•   Character Rom (U5) (901225-01)

By simply setting the correct rom image by simple jumper setting!

- Great for diagnosing and replacing the rom on a Commodore 64!

- With the Kernal rom (U3), I have also added a couple of alternate kernals to select that may help you get more out of your C64.

• Datel Turbo Rom (a fast load kernal speeds up program loading up to 5 times)
• C64 Deadtest Rom Rev 781220 (Great for diagnosing a faulty system!)
• SD2IEC 2.0 Rom (optimized if you have an SD2IEC device)

- Narrow design allows 3 modules to fit side by side!

- Quality build featuring narrow gold-plated pin headers which wont damage your board socket.

- If your C64 roms are socketed then simply insert adapter into the socket.

** In some cases, the original roms are soldered to the board and in that case will require de-soldering and socketing before adapter fitment.
