Veteran lefthander Bob Schultz was the first of four Tiger pitchers used in relief of Frank Lary in a 7-3 loss to Cleveland at Briggs Stadium on Friday, April 15, 1955. It was Schultz's only appearance in a Detroit uniform and his last in the major leagues.
