Mi-1 - (NATO classification: Hare - "Hare") is a Soviet multipurpose helicopter, developed by the Mil Design Bureau in the late 1940s. The first Soviet serial production helicopter. Originally designated as GM-1 (Helicopter Mila-1). The first flight of the Mi-1 was made in September 1948. In 1951 it was put into trial operation. Serial production was carried out in the USSR in 1952-1960, in the Poland in the city of Svidnik in 1956-1965. A total of 2,680 vehicles were built.
