PETZVAL BOKEH MODIFIED Lens from HELIOS-44M-4

 This is an original vintage lens made in the former Soviet Union ( USSR ). HELIOS 44m-4 f2/58mm - one of the most common lenses of the Helios 44m-4 series.

Helios 44m-4 is an interesting lens with an amazing picture and fixed focal length 58mm. The focusing of the lens is smooth. The focus ring rotates 220 degrees. When focusing, the front and rear lenses do not rotate. The diaphragm has 6 blades. The iris control ring rotates smoothly, stopping at fixed values.

The lens has a very specific bokeh. Like other lenses in the HELIOS-44 family, the 44m-4 version swirls the background (the legendary helios "swirling bokeh"). A lens like this can be a great find for a photographer. The optical element of this lens creates stunning swirling bokeh.
