McCord M1 helmet heat # M 330 A. Original paint and chin straps with minor rust, wear and damage shown in the photos (specifically photos 1 thru 3). The liner is a Westinghouse MICARTA using a CAPAC mold. The liner has a Private's chevon on the front, a 32nd Infantry Division red arrow on one side and a "LES TERRIBLE" red arrow insignia on the other. Insignias show wear as pics show (specifically photos 10 thru 12). There is a aged white tag hanging from the neck suspension. The faded inscription reads "W. Schram" and "LINER BAND(S) BROKE(N)". The name Schram is scratched on the interior bill of the liner and the suspension is original and has been repaired {see the 6th pic). The leather chin strap's buckle and Carr rivets are original, the leather and hangers are replacements. The sweat band and adjustable nape strap are reproductions. All together this is a great looking set, I hope it finds a good home.
