The pendant for this hemp necklace is a cruelty free, elk antler slice measuring: 3.8 x 2.5 cm.  (1 1/2" x 1"), into which I inlaid a 20 x 15 mm. dyed, purple abalone shell cabochon.

Deer and elk shed (or drop) their antlers annually, so this came from a still living animal.

Doing macrame with double strands of natural color hemp, I used faceted, dyed agate rounds, aventurine and bone rounds, faceted, amethyst rounds, and brass donuts and rondelles all strung on strong, durable, artificial sinew.

The length is adjustable, starting at 33 cm. (13"), up to 73 cm. (36 1/2").
Just slip it over your head, and slide the lock knot to desired length.

If you would like it shorter, you can specify the length desired at time of purchase (no less than 60 cm. or 24" so it will still fit over your head), and I can easily shorten it.
