This Buy It Now listing is for a service kit containing all you need to replace your systemdeks most commonly worn parts.
This service kit comprises of a high quality & correctly sized platter drive belt, a correctly specified, Grade 10 "Through Hardened" chrome steel ball & enough high quality specialist turntable oil, to keep your deck spinning smoothly & silently for many years -
This kit contains 2 sizes of ball bearing, to cover both possible sizes that were used in these decks ..the earlier decks had a spiral groove cut into the edge of the sub-platter shaft .. these are known as "oil pump" sub-platter shafts, they were of a larger diameter & require the larger ball bearing, later decks, like the IIX900 in the photos, use a narrower plain sub-platter shaft which use the smaller ball bearing.

The specialist bearing oil, is supplied in a handy dropper bottle with security /child proof type twist top - both bearing & oil are the correct / exact specification to be used at the bottom of the main bronze platter bearing on your Systemdek.
This "high tack" oil is an exceptional quality, castor based product, of the correct viscosity, specifically selected for its superior film strength and ability to cling to the surfaces it coats. The product will over time be absorbed into the surface layer of the bronze bearing on the systemdek, providing extremely low-friction, smooth & quiet operation.
Also, a pleasant bonus of the oil being castor based, is that it has no strong unpleasant odour, unlike some oils that others may recommend.
Note:
All existing old oil MUST be removed from the bronze bearing well of your systemdek, prior to adding this product !! This is because it will not mix with other oils & because you also want to ensure that the bearing is as clean as posible before adding this new oil & ball.
( Cotton buds on sticks /Q-tips are provided in the kit for this purpose ).

Kit comprises of
- High quality drive belt of correct size
- 2x AISI 52100 Grade 10, Through hardened, Chrome Steel ball bearings.
- 10 ml highest quality turntable bearing oil in dropper bottle, with security cap & fine dropper tube.
- 4 Q-tips ( cotton buds on sticks) for cleaning old oil from the bearing housing.
