Vintage 1960s Mondia Friendship Zenith Divers 37mm Blue Faced Date Gents Wrist Watch Cal AS 1950

In good condition with age related wear that does not detract from its overall presentation or use, it ticks away happily and it keeps close time, as with any vintage timepiece a service would not go amiss.

The face is a shimmering dark blue and the lumed hour markers have reacted to light over the years giving them a wonderful blurry appearance. The extremely fine yellow sweeping seconds hand is beautiful in its simplicity. The face is signed 'Mondia, Friendship, Swiss Made' and according to watch database Mikrolisk, Mondia is a registered name of Zenith watch company. The watch is fitted with a beautiful gilt finished high quality Swiss 17 Jewels AS 1950 mechanical hand wound movement.

It is fitted to a black leather strap that has light signs of use

It measures approx 37mm diameter excluding the crown by 42mm from lug to lug and fits an 18mm strap
