Basic information:

Girotondo Round Tray , designed by Stefano Giovannoni and Guido Venturini -- the designers of the creative duo King-Kong -- for Italian brand Alessi, made in Italy 1980s-90s.

Hailing from Italy, the flamboyant design partnership Venturini and Giovannoni founded the iconic King Kong design studio in the 1980s. They have worked with Alessi for many years and have had many other successful design collaborations, including the Girotondo line of household appliances in metal and plastic, that feature the instantly-reconigsable cut-out stick man design.
The cheerfully stylish Girotondo Round Tray features the iconic cut-out man design around the entire outer edge, lending a vibrant and playful feel to the piece of tableware. This tray is fabricated in high-quality polished stainless steel and has a diameter of 15.2 inches (38cm) and depth of 1.2 inches (3 cm), providing plenty of space for carrying plates, bowls and glasses. The stainless steel construction means the tray is ideal for use in the kitchen, living room or dining room, as it is easily cleaned and resists stains and rust. With the famous cut-out, gingerbread-like design around the edge of the tray,perfectly proportioned will look great on any table.
